 Charbel Aoun a Lebanese born. Born in Beirut was trained and worked in numerous up-scale restaurants in the Middle East. In 1998, he took his french certificate from chef George Blanc (Worldwide french chef). By the age of 23, he became the first Middle Eastern chef to be awarded the Michelin star. In 2002 Charbel founded Morilles & Truffles advisory group LTD. in Sweden, and now M.T.A.G owns 7 offices worldwide.On March 2009 he received the Golden certificate in Molecular Gastronomy in Berlin, Germany.



If I weren't talking to you right now I'd be... catching up on some sleep.


A phrase I use far too often is... people say I use “no doubt about it” very often.


I wish people would take more notice of... poverty. It's a curse to mankind.


A common misconception of me is... I really don’t know. I am like an open book.


The most surprising thing about me is... that I haven’t won the lottery yet!


I'm not a politician but... I can’t change anything in this country - it’s already done.


I'm good at... solving problems, but i can't find anyone willing to solve mine (Laughing)


But I'm very bad at... lying. I always get caught lying so I try not to. Then people tell me I'm too blunt!


My ideal night out is... anything would be fun at the moment....


In moments of weakness I... turn to my faith.


In a truer life I'd have been... a psychiatrist.


The best age to be is... for me, every age has its beauty but a newborn is the best. Everybody loves you.


In a nutshell, my philosophy is... you can do anything if you believe you can
